Life is an empty book
So many pages to fill,
Every up and down
Every twist and thrill.
Happiness is a smile
On the chubby face of a baby,
Or possibly a laughing man
Or a family maybe.
Sadness is a tear drop
On the side of a little face,
Or all the scared people
Or the way we judge every race.
Help is a friend
Who will always hold you close,
Who will tell you when you're wrong
And yet, is more kind then most.
Love is three words
And not the three most knew,
Love is just saying this
"I forgive you."

Annie! I'm really impressed. I am sure they have poetry contests for money for kids under 18. I think you need to enter them pronto.
