I believe in the ocean,
Every drop and every wave,
It's metaphor of cleansing,
And the truth of its power.

I believe in its loveliness,
And the way it hits the rocks,
Which over time become sand,
For everyone to touch.

I believe in its strength,
And the breath it gives fish,
All the life beneath the waves,
And yet death for any human.

I truly love its water,
And the energy it gives me,
The life it can restore to me,
Because I believe in the ocean.
